AJC Planning Consultants worked in collaboration with Perunding Wahba and Roland Berger to propose a development plan for the expansion and sustainable growth of Bintulu town and its surrounding area for the period 2018-2050. The final report has been approved by the State Government in April 2021.

The proposal includes a phased implementation plan until 2050, a funding model for the suggested projects, and the identification of necessary policy changes and institutions to support these recommendations.
